St. Louis, MO (July 1, 2016) – Cornerstone Mortgage, Inc., a locally owned privately-held St. Louis-based national mortgage banking firm, has been selected once again as one of the Top Places to Work in the region. This marks the fifth consecutive year Cornerstone Mortgage, Inc. has been on the list. Cornerstone Mortgage, Inc. is the only Mortgage Banker named on the Top Workplaces list in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Every year, WorkplaceDynamics and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch come together to recognize local companies that create a positive work environment for their employees. The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon feedback from an employee survey. To qualify for the Top Workplaces list, 35% of a company’s employees must complete the survey. Cornerstone surpassed this requirement, having an 82% response rate from its employees.
Cornerstone has succeeded in creating a positive work environment for their employees. Even through challenging economic times in the market and unexpected events such as the passing of their former President and co-founder Jim Dean, Cornerstone has prospered and grown.
The company was not only recognized as being a Top Workplace but President/CEO, Angi Stevenson was featured as one of the Top Confidence-Boosting Leaders in the St. Louis region on STLToday.com. Ms. Stevenson was named a Top Confidence Boosting Leader for her interaction with her employees.
